Alessia has worked at Spaw since January 2010. She used to work at a doggie daycare in Vancouver and had been doing private dog care for many years. When she moved back to Toronto and heard Spaw was hiring it was exactly what she was looking for. Alessia is the friendly face you will see in the mornings greeting the daycare and grooming clients. Most importantly, she helps make sure all our furry friends are safe and having fun!
Alessia has two cats, Neil and Brenda. She found Neil when he was a kitten and now he is two years old and such a brat! She adopted Brenda in February 2011, she is almost 2 years old now. When she first brought her home she was really shy but she has been gaining confidence and silliness every day!
As for favorite breeds, she likes them all but she does have a soft spot for Boxers, Frenchies, Pitbulls and Mutts! So be careful if you have one of these breeds because you might not get your dog back at the end of the day!
Outside of work she likes to spend her time sewing, knitting and reading.
