Wendy has been at Spaw for 3 years. She is originally from Ecuador where she studied agriculture and livestock. When she first came to Toronto she volunteered at a vet clinic for a year where she realized what she really wanted to become: a groomer. Wendy was looking to get into the grooming business and one day she dropped into Spaw. Her interest and passion for animals was clear and it made her a perfect addition to the team. After completing an apprenticeship with Spaw, Wendy has become one of our best groomers. Wendy is very calm and has remarkable patience which makes her fantastic with puppies. As a result, she is also one of the few people than can groom cats!
She has a little Pomeranian with a big personality named Kito. They argue like an old married couple. The two are a match made in heaven, they truly make each other happy.
She enjoys meditation courses, yoga and also likes trying new restaurants with friends.
